Nordson Corp officials break ground on a 28.5 million world headquarters on Clemens Road Amherst. The 27 acre site will house MIS and Research and Engineering centers, a corporate building, and a visitors center, with phases finishing by next summer and 1986 for the remainder. The project ties Amherst growth to Westlake Commerce Park and nearby firms Banc Systems and Scott & Fetzer. A 2,400 foot Clemens extension to Ranney Parkway could cost about 900,000.
