Joseph Myda 45 of West River street was attacked by three men who drove him at gunpoint to a desolate road leading to Cherry Ridge Golf Course. Golfers shouted and threw clubs and stones, the car was damaged, Myda was injured and taken to Memorial Hospital. Warrants were issued for two Cleveland men. police traced a Cleveland-registered car, owner not found. two suspects were later cleared.
