District Health Board faces reallocation disputes across county
Lorain County health district governance grows from eight to ten members on January 1 with seats for Avon, Avon Lake, Elyria, Lorain, Sheffield Lake, Oberlin, Amherst and North Ridgeville. The district’s approach relies on appointments by mayors and councils, while health commissioner Dave Covell cautions against further expansion without legal basis.
