Lorain County Surges In Real Estate and Building Growth
A survey shows Lorain County leads in per capita real estate value among eight counties, with low tax rates vs Cuyahoga and Hamilton. Tax duplicates show rising totals since 1944, driven by new homes and ongoing building in Lorain Elyria and surrounding townships. New construction is concentrated along the lake and eastern fringe, signaling continued suburban expansion and a robust housing market.
