Four Injured Slightly In Train Crash Near North Eaton
Early this morning the second section of the Missouri Big Four train crashed into the rear of the first section a mile and a half west of North Eaton in dense fog. Four people suffered minor bruises and lacerations and were treated at Lutheran hospital in Cleveland. Among passengers were Detroit Tigers players Goose Goslin and Schoolboy Rowe and Charley Gehringer, all reported uninjured.

Lorain Youth Killed in Sheffield Lake Crash
A fatal crash early yesterday in Sheffield Lake killed 19 year old Thomas Godley Jr of Lorain and injured four others, including his brother James Godley and friend Major Jackson. Driver Howard Powell 26 of Lorain blamed a blown tire for the crash into a telephone pole. Fourteen more people hurt in separate Wellington street collision near 4:30 am.

Amherst Man Is Killed By Auto
William J. Kluss a 47 year old Amherst resident of Taylor street was struck and killed on Route 2 near Clarksville Sumit county Saturday evening by oncoming cars whose drivers did not see him while he walked along the highway. He died en route to Bedford Hospital and his body was later moved to the Guy Morgue in Cleveland then to Zilch Funeral Home in Amherst. He had left Amherst Friday to visit relatives in Cleveland and his movements since are unknown. Born in Germany he came to Amherst at age two and lived there ever since. His mother Kathryn Kluss died two years ago. He is survived by his brother Albert with whom he lived. He delivered the Amherst Times for twelve years and belonged to the Modern Woodmen Lodge of America. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm from Zuch Funeral Home with Rev M Hayes of the Evangelical church officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Amherst.
