Drownings at Century Park as Lorain man dies in Lake Erie
The Chronicle Telegram reports 20 year old Christopher Recznik of Lorain died in an apparent drowning while swimming with friends at Century Park in Lake Erie. The body was recovered near 8:30 p.m. after 911 called at 6:38 p.m. Dive Team and Coast Guard joined searches. neighbors note frequent swimming with no lifeguards on site.

Avon residents celebrate Independence Day bike parade

Man Sought by Police Turns Self In After Fatal Lorain Shooting
Charles Pierre-Louis Jr., 19, surrendered to Lorain police on a weapons charge unrelated to the Sunday fatal shooting of 19 year old Keshawndrae Carter on West 22nd Street and Beech Avenue. Races take shape for Ohio 2018 governor contest
