A man on a scooter was struck by an SUV at West 17th Street and Elyria Avenue Sunday before 5 p.m. The driver fled but was later located near Broadway and 23rd Street. The scooter rider was hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center. identidade and condition were not released.
