Cruiser Destroyed In Beaverton Lake Explosion

Stabbing Victim Dies At Lorain Man Held

Ennis Price 41 of 1623 East 28th St died Saturday at St Joseph Hospital from knife wounds after a late night assault near the Palm Gardens. Wilhe B Vinton of 1736 Livingston Ave is held as a suspect, admitting he cut Price and discarding the weapon. Price’s death follows police efforts to locate the six to eight inch fishing knife in East 30th St and Grove Ave. Vinton says fear of being beaten prompted the attack. Five Killed In Rail Crash Near Vaughn New Mexico

A Santa Fe freight collision near Cardenas Junction east of Vaughn New Mexico killed five crew members and injured three, when a westbound train failed to stop at a siding and collided head on with an eastbound freight.
