Subway Crash Kills Motorman In Brooklyn Tunnel
A subway motorman violating TA rules crashed his northbound IRT train into the rear of another in a Brooklyn tunnel, killing him and injuring 130 passengers. Rescue workers freed him after 30 hours as 800 to 1,000 people were evacuated from three trains.
