Ohio Fourth of July festival hosts spitting championships and parades
Grafton hosts a Fourth of July festival featuring the Midwest Tobacco Spittin' championships for adults, a morning parade downtown starting 11 a.m., floats antique cars and bands, performances by Charlie Wiener and Wienerland, and a jailbird run. Fireworks cap the day at Willow Park. Exhibitions across Ohio run through late summer at major museums and theatres including Columbus, Cincinnati, Mansfield, Portsmouth, Toledo, Akron, and Wooster venues.
