Fourth of July in Grafton Hosts Tobacco Spittin Championship
The Grafton Fourth of July festival features the Midwest Tobacco Spittin Championship for entrants 18 and over with no residency requirement. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. downtown, with a 10:30 a.m. parade lineup at Willow Park, floats antique cars and bands invited, plus performances by Charlie Wiener and the Wienerland orchestra. Fireworks cap the day at 10 p.m. at Willow Park, and other events include a jailbird run.

Patterns Worth Repeating quilt show set for Athens Ohio
The fourth Patterns Worth Repeating exhibition runs August 11 to 28 at the Dairy Barn Southeastern Ohio Cultural Arts Center in Athens.
