Twin races keep Foyt on the go in 1988 Cleveland Grand Prix
A.J. Foyt juggles Cleveland Grand Prix and NASCAR Firecracker 400 duties. He qualified 18th for NASCAR, then 21st for the Grand Prix, started last after missing a drivers meeting, and retired with engine failure. Foyt says he will adjust the car for race day. Local safety crew members from Lorain and Elyria assisted, and dry grass on the Burke course created visibility issues for some drivers.
