Three Fatal Crashes Reported In Lorain County
A morning crash on Avon Belden Road and Route 82 killed George Bickley 54 of 217 Georgia Ave Lorain and injured J W Coleman of North Eaton. Bickley died at Elyria Memorial Hospital from a fractured pelvis and internal injuries. Deputy sheriffs investigated and noted both vehicles left the road. A separate 1:30 a m death near Route 2 involved Rev Bela Csontos of Lorain who fell asleep at the wheel and struck a culvert. Funeral services are set for Kenneth Crooks 19 who died yesterday after being struck on Route 20 by a truck driven by G G Au it of Elk Heart Ind as his car ran out of gasoline. Sheriff Dick said grand jury consideration will review statements from the Crooks and this morning crash. Police also reported damage to Robert Agate’s parked car on Broad Street and two tires damaged on John Seabold’s car from a street shot near the B and O crossing on West River Street.
