Freed hostages greeted in Wiesbaden after Beirut ordeal
Thirty-nine Americans freed from Beirut were welcomed in Wiesbaden Germany by about 100 relatives and crowd cheers. They arrived at the U S Air Force Hospital for medical and psychiatric checks and spoke briefly about their wellbeing. Vice President Bush greeted them at Rhein-Main Air Base before they traveled to the hospital.

Plum Creek plunge leaves boy critical
A 10 year old Olmsted Falls boy, Michael Isham, was listed in critical condition at Southwest General Hospital after a 25 foot fall onto rocks in Plum Creek Saturday around 4 30 p m. He was not breathing when rescued by a policeman who performed CPR.
