Gates Hospital rededication in Elyria set for July 11
More than 6,000 invitations were sent to residents outside Elyria for the Gates Hospital for Crippled Children rededication Friday afternoon July 11. Hal H. Griswold state director of welfare will be the principal speaker. The Elyria Rotary Club will run the program at 2 p m. The hospital will be open for inspection before and after the services and a clinic will run 9 a m to 12 p m. The improvements include heliotherapy facilities. The hospital was first dedicated on April 5, 1915.
