Whirlpool wins approval to buy KitchenAid division
The 6th U.S Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Whirlpool Corp may acquire the KitchenAid appliance division from Dart & Kraft for 150 million dollars. Opponents argued the merger would raise Whirlpool’s share in the dishwasher market and harm competition.
