John Sabo of 111 Alexander Dr plans to seek an injunction over North Abbe Road widening until sewer backup problems are addressed. Elyria businessman James D. Nolan filed petitions for the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor submitting 2 060 signatures from 68 counties. He previously ran for secretary of state in 1966. Elderly Elyria Woman Dies After Berea Crash
Mrs. Raymond Shripka, 72, of 710 Bond St., died at Central Baptist Hospital after injuries from a Jan 11 single car crash near Berea. Her husband, 74, was released earlier and living nearby. She suffered a broken arm and pelvis and multiple wounds.
