Car-house crash kills six in Ohio family tragedy

In Greenville Ohio a car left the road and crashed into a two story farmhouse killing six people including Charles Feltz and his wife and two of their children. A 23 year old driver and a 12 year old survivor described waking to the crash as near zero temperatures hampered rescue efforts.

Commercial flying safest since 1957

The Chicago Tribune reports 1975 saw the fewest U.S. commercial aviation crashes since 1974, with 42 accidents and 124 fatalities, including 112 deaths from the Eastern Airlines 727 crash at JFK. The year marked the safest period in a descent in crashes since 1965, and scheduled carriers posted their lowest accident count in 11 years.

Broken-hearted vandals smash Clifton car windows

In Cincinnati UPI report two teenaged boys from Aiken High School smashed 27 windshields and car windows in recent weeks after girls refused to dance with them. The 16 year old and 18 year old were arrested Tuesday on criminal damage charges. the younger was released on a 900 dollar bond.
