Wellington Town Hall in Shapiro book Running Across America

The 1885 Wellington Town Hall with its four faced onion clock is featured in James E. Shapiro’s Meditations From the Breakdown Lane Running Across America. The volume recalls a 1980 Yellowstone Trail run through Wellington and a 1980 Route 18 stop with Harry Lee Sr. and mentions local lore on Edward Payson Weston. The Herrick Memorial Library holds the book as Southern Lorain County Historical Society hosts a quarterly meeting tonight.
