INS to issue 1 year permits for Lake Erie border crossings
The INS will hire more inspectors and charge 16 per person with a 32 family cap to cover the cost of a one year permit for boaters entering from Canada to Pelee Island. Fishermen must carry the permit during boating season and present citizenship proof at the Boat Show in Cleveland.
