Seeing Eye Dogs From Neubauer Kennel To Aid Blind
Two German shepherd sisters donated by Ernest W. Neubauer and housed by William D. Holt and Gus Zaffer are being prepared as seeing eye dogs for Lions Club training in Columbus. The dogs, nearly six months old, will be sent at nine months to the Lions program. Neubauer chose female puppies for this work, citing their intelligence and loyalty.
