End Of Strike Crops Up At Electro-Alloys

Harwood Lersch, 70, died at 6 30 AM at his home 121 Harrison Street after about two months of illness. He was Elyria born April 4 1882 and a Denison graduate who served as a civil engineer and Ohio State Highway Department first division engineer for 15 years. He later worked for Lorain County Highway Department for 20 years and was chief deputy engineer, plus zoning board member. Survived by daughter Louise Baldauf Elyria son William H Fields brother Walter Elyria and three grandchildren. Wife Jane died January 31 1952. Private funeral at his residence Wednesday afternoon with Rev Byron Kenneth Anthony officiating. Burial Breakdale Cemetery.
