Roosevelt Seeks Cabinet Shakeup Yet Woodring Stays Put

Bricker campaign activity resurfaces after earlier quiet pause, Taft allies push, while Bricker aides describe mixed luck with relief and political breaks. Jackson’s first Cabinet meeting ends with a mislaid hat, Garner shifts to seek Senate anti lynching vote, and a Finnish loan debate looms as $9.5 million remains unused. A behind the scenes tax on the White House notes includes Merry Go Round on Morris Ernst asked to defend a group charged with plotting against the government.
