La Grange Hosts Farmers Institute Grafton
The farmers state institute met at the Belden club house with wide attendance and strong talks by J. W. Nicodemus Van Wert Mrs. Mary Cartwright Delaware and F. L. Shoenbarger Portage County. Sessions featured township school papers Supt Landis County Superintendent Seale and health nurse Miss Paddock. Officers elected for LaGrange include President Darius Holcomb Vice President Ira Swartz and Sec Treas Fred Prosser. A Homemaker Stinb meeting was announced for Jan 28 at Mrs B A Kellys with program notes and a noon cafeteria dinner. Several local residents and visitors traveled to Elyria and nearby cities for events and meetings.
