Visitor keeps Poe grave tradition with roses and cognac
A mysterious visitor placed three roses and a half bottle of cognac at Edgar Allan Poe’s grave in Baltimore on his birthday. The letter claims insiders push a risky 18 million loan and a second loan for 2 million to restore disrepair tracks, mocking the interchange on Rt. 58 and predicting decades of tax burden. It labels the effort a political advertisement by John and Penton, paid for by private funds.
