Gold Circle energy saving could light and heat city
Gold Circle Stores announced an energy conservation program that saved enough energy in 15 months to heat and light a city of over one million for 30 days. The plan cuts store thermostats to 65 68 in winter and reduces appliance and display lighting use with future plans for gas oil and water savings. Automatic energy controllers may boost electrical savings 5 to 10 percent.
