Dog Dragging A Chain Causes Accident At Broad Street
Mrs Gouls Woodrock of 720 West River Street and a small child she carried were thrown to the sidewalk when a large black dog dragging a 20 foot chain tripped her in front of the A and P store on Broad Street. Police said the dog broke loose and had no license on its collar. The dog was seized by County Day Ware dog Jack Forbes. Mrs Woodrock suffered a laceration to her left ankle and torn stocking. the child escaped injury.
