Federal heads head Start fixes sought by agency at meeting
Federal Administration for Children and Families will attend the post Loran Couns Community Action Agency board meeting to review and guide corrective steps for deficiencies in the local Head Start program. A 13 page report cited leadership gaps and weak internal controls, with potential loss of funds if problems persist. The board chair emphasized fixes, while interim president Nelson Ramirez and director Barb Aldridge face scrutiny amid ongoing investigations.
