Louise A Norris 82 of 17 Lake Ave Elyria died at The Elyria Home after a two year illness. She served on the YWCA Board was a member of First United Methodist Church United Methodist Women Bethel Shrine No 24 White Shrine of Jerusalem and was born in Maquoketa Iowa. Surviving husband Ralph W sons Frank Roy and Carl six grandchildren four great grandchildren two brothers Dan Sommer Clearwater Fla and Henry Sommer Big Bear Calif two brothers William and Evan preceded her in death. Visitation Harold Dicken Funeral Home tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Services Monday 11 am at the funeral home Rev Mae Booth officiating. Burial Ridge Hill Memorial Park. Memorials to First United Methodist Church Building Fund suggested.

Coroner to rule in shooting death

Lorain County coroner plans to rule on the gunshot death of a 22 year old man found in a car with its engine running in the 300 block of Broad Street North. Edward McLaughlin of 218 Wolf Court was pronounced dead at Elsta Memorial Hospital. A rewriter mstol was found in his hand. No foul play was suspected. Elyria police said.

$25,000 Drug Haul Seized in Elyria Raid Case
