Judge declines to overturn sheriff sale of Elyria property
Common Pleas Judge Le Roy F. Kelly refused to set aside the $5,700 sheriff sale of 131 Caroline St Elyria. Se ward B. Norris claimed he would have paid $8,000 and sought to collect a $10,254 judgment from purchaser Martyn Eskins. The sale, to Frank and Jessie Root, occurred Dec 13. Norris was not represented. the first mortgage held by the First National Bank of Elvria was $4,190.
