The cockpit voice recorder recovered from Lake Erie captured the moments before the crash that killed six people. The National Transportation Safety Board said the device contained sounds from the entire flight and will undergo detailed analysis led by spokesman Eric Weiss.

Man Struck by Car In Elyria Township In Critical Condition
A 73 year old man Gary Lander was struck while crossing Griswold Road near 41812 on a wet dark Tuesday evening. He was taken to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland where he remained in critical condition as of Wednesday night. The 49 year old driver was traveling east with conditions noted as wet and dark and alcohol and speed were not factors. The Lorain County Sheriff's Office continues the investigation and will release the driver’s name after completion.
