Transit routes slashed in Elyria Lorain transit cuts

Elyria Lorain County Transit will drastically reduce service starting Monday with only four fixed routes remaining, two combined routes running every two hours, no Saturday or Sunday service, hours cut to 6 am to 6 pm, and a limited Dial A Ride option surviving. Commissioner Betty Blair supported the proposal after funding gaps from a failed sales tax hike.

Lorain demolishes first blighted home under NSP funds
