Heritage nominees sought for Oberlin awards
The Oberlin Heritage Center seeks nominations through Feb. 1 for categories including community historian heritage guardian and youth community service. A governance committee will review inputs and the Board of Trustees will approve in March. Last year the African American Genealogy and History Group won the Heritage Guardian Award. The 2017 winners will be announced at the April 5 annual meeting with a keynote by Joseph Sober. Contact Melissa Harris at 329-7155 or ctnews chroniclet.com.
