The State Liquor Board intensified its campaign against private clubs and liquor permit holders tied to slot machines and gambling bans. Funeral Services For Judge Duffy Monday Morning
Funeral services for Judge William Duffy of Lorain will be held Monday morning at St. Anthony's Church with Rev Ambrose Finegan as celebrant. The judge died Wednesday night after a long illness. He was a Carroll County native, Ohio Northern University graduate, admitted to the bar in 1918, and served on the Lorain Municipal Court for 12 years. He is survived by his wife Miley and two daughters Irene Miller and Marig De Gould, plus three brothers and three sisters. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
