Boy survives sub zero bridge ordeal in Elyria rescue
A 14 year old deaf mute, Mark Miles, spent about an hour on the understructure of a Penn Central bridge over the Black River in Elyria in 4 below weather. A passing girl called for help and firemen using a rope lowered to haul him up. He was warmed at a store and returned home in a police car, uninjured.
