Nettie Gibson Johnson died at 11 p.m. at Ehria Memorial Hospital following seven months illness. A lifelong Elyria resident, she lived at Endle Apartments with 45 years tenure, born May 16 1854 in Cleveland. She served as secretary to the Women’s Auxiliary of Elyria Memorial Hospital from 1907 and long trustee secretary at the Emvria Home for the Aged, and was active in the Formardy Club and Iris Garden Club. She was the oldest living graduate of Elyria High School and widow of Charles S. Johnson.
