Search extended for slayer of John and Bertha User
Ohio authorities widened the search for a pair of killers after John User and his wife Bertha were murdered in Canal Fulton. A 16 year old former employee and a 21 year old associate fled with a present pay and a missing car, known locally as "Jud ah." The couple’s son Harold found the father dead in the milkhouse the morning after the crime. Police believe robbery was the motive, with hundreds of dollars missing. Double funeral services were planned for Canal Fulton’s Catholic church tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. and burial at St. Philip and James Cemetery.
