Service sector growth signals strength in 2011
The ISM services index rose to 57.1 in December the highest since May 2006 and the 12th straight expansion month. ADP reported 297,000 private sector jobs added in December, with 270,000 in services, suggesting a potential jobs rebound amid solid demand for health care retail and finance services.
