Kilroy calls for debate with Mary Jo Vasi for county board
Elyria Ohio. Kilroy a 4th Ward Avon councilman and longtime advocate filed Tuesday to run for Lorain County commissioner. He urges a public debate with incumbent Mary Jo Vasi to scrutinize her record on economic development living wages urban sprawl and blighted neighborhoods. Vasi welcomes the idea saying it’s a wasted opportunity to pass up. Amherst City Auditor Diane Eswaine also filed and Kilroy says he wants Vasi in a forum regardless of Eswaine’s presence. The candidates aim to expose policies and let voters judge merit.
