Prague Spring lacks vitality at Cleveland Play House
The cabaret style musical The Prague Spring by Lee Kalcheim and Joseph Raposo opened at the Cleveland Play House Euclid Avenue theater. It traces the Dubcek reform era with a small cast and minimal set, but the production remains ho-hum with few memorable songs and dated political jokes, leaving little universal insight into 1968 Prague and disappointing overall.
