James Wallace Black eight month old son of Mr and Mrs James Thomas Black of R D La Grange died today presumably from suffocation in his crib. The mother found him about 10 am and he was rushed to Oberlin Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Coroner Paul F Tillman and the sheriff’s department will conduct investigations. The infant was an only child and Black worked for The Ridge Tool Co.

John Lemmon, 72, of Route 301 LaGrange, suffered a wrenched shoulder and Mayme Phalen, 68, riding with him, lacera tions on hands and possible chest injury in a traffic crash on Route 301 a quarter mile north of Route 18 at 11 p.m. yesterday. George Wolsche Jr., 21, of Inkster, Michigan, drove south as the other car, and the injured were taken to Oberlin Hospital. A separate report says Herbert Goss, Route 51 Wellington, said his front end was damaged when the car ahead rolled back into him at a Lake Avenue stoplight.
