Attempt To Save Child Diederick Fails In Rescue Effort
Fire department and sheriff's deputies tried to revive William Diederick 24 4 year old son of Mr and Mrs Robert Diederick after a call from Carlisle township. Resuscitator borrowed from Elyria fire dept rushed to Elyria Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He had a throat ailment and fever of 102. Survived by sister Mary ann and grandparents Carl Diederick La Grange and C L Pickworth Wellington. Funeral services by Bittner Funeral Home to be held Friday at 9 a.m. and St Marys church at 9 30. Body to be taken to the residence this evening. Burial in St Marys cemetery.

Car Rolls Over Injuring Two Persons
Two people were injured when a car rolled over on Russia road at 4 13 am near Route 20. Eugene E Limpach 21 of 161 Courtland street was treated for contusions and abrasions. Olga Zukowski 24 of Amherst RD was treated for a scalp laceration. Limpach was charged with reckless driving and to appear in court.
