Sheffield Lake picks 22 year old treasurer for district
Sheffield-Sheffield Lake School District names Susan Imhoff of Oregon as treasurer effective Jan. 21, replacing Michael Nolte who left for Ravenna City Schools. The board also elects Barbara Miller as president and Raymond Reese as vice president. Imhoff, 22, earns 24000 annually on a two year contract and plans to relocate to Sheffield Lake while vowing to cut costs and improve efficiency with Nolte and state treasurer's help.

Eaton Two Trustees Boost Employee Pay and Meet
The Eaton Township board raised hourly pay by 25 cents for skilled and unskilled workers and for semi skilled and skilled operators. The township secretary and recording secretary also receive raises while other positions stay the same. Leland Durkee becomes chairman with Chester Carpenter as vice chairman. Funds for trustees to attend the Ohio State Trustees and Clerks gathering in Columbus were approved, with a $265 per member cap including mileage.
