Antiques notes on Vernacular Tobacco Cabinet finds and values
A November Garths auction featured a five foot high vernacular tobacco cabinet named Vintage Vernacular Tobacco Cabinet likely by Goodwin & Co before the Civil War. The piece blends two forms into one and shows missing shelves in the mirrored section with cubbies and drawers below likely for tobacco and pipes.
