Accidental shooting of Rochester Township boy ruled by detectives
Lorain County sheriff's detectives ruled the shooting of 9-year-old Mark Warren by his 15-year-old brother Richard an accident. The incident occurred in their home on Wednesday when Richard allegedly pulled the trigger while handling a .22 pistol. Mark was in satisfactory condition at Norwalk Fisher Titus Hospital with a thigh and stomach wound.

Elyria man held after Lorain double shooting at party
Police arrested Harrison Daniels Jr 28 after two Lorain men were shot at his Lexington Avenue home during a 7 30 p m party. Dalton Blakley 26 in the neck and Daniels in the left thigh were treated at St Joseph Hospital in good and fair condition respectively. The weapon a .22 pistol was not recovered. The suspect surrendered later that evening.

Man Shot While Intervening in New Year's Eve Fight
