Man in serious condition after Route 113 collision
Richard Rodgers, 40, was struck by a Ford Explorer at 6:16 a.m. while crossing the Route 113 West Ridge Road intersection. Police say he failed to yield. driver Joseph Akosi, 58, was not cited. Rodgers was transported to Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
