Winter market proves popular as downtown Ohio vendors thrive
The indoor winter market near Pearl Alley filled all 30 vendor spaces with a waiting list, selling produce and crafts beyond expectations. Vendors like Marcia Bergefurd reported brisk fall squash and vegetable sales, while Ohio positions winter markets as retail incubators. The project received a 61000 grant and aims to return next year, though the site will be replaced by a new Hotel Indigo.
