Russell L Twining of Loudonville died February 23 2008 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home He was born September 5 1922 to Lewis and Lavella Twining He married Doris Burrows Twining on July 4 1943 He farmed in Huntington and Loudonville served on Black River school board and was a Lake Township trustee for six years After retirement he worked for Hobby Nursery and the Ashland County Fairgrounds He drove for the Amish community He attended Mohicanville Community Church and enjoyed coon hunting and Lake Erie fishing He is survived by his wife of 64 years five children 22 grandchildren 57 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren Funeral services were February 27 2008 at Mohicanville Community Church Burial in Pioneer Cemetery Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter or Mohicanville Community Church

Hazel Hope Kirk Morrison 80 of Elyria died February 23 2008 after a short illness. Born February 17 1928 in Whitman West Virginia she lived in Elyria 55 years and attended Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters Regina Johnson and Beverly Hoover, sister Helen Farris, brothers Adrian Edward Jack Hatfield and Neil Morrison, five grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Moses. Visitation Tuesday February 26 from 10 to 11 prior to services at Liberty Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Rick Young. Burial in Brookdale Cemetery.

Ellen Louis Mourton of Rochester Township died February 25 2008 at Elms Retirement Village Wellington after a long illness. Born July 9 1950 in South Euclid she was a 1968 Lutheran West graduate and attended Kent State University. She worked ten years at Erie Sand and Gravel Lorain and was active in Rochester United Methodist Church and the Rochester Historical Club crafting cornhusk dolls.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years William Bill, sons Joseph of San Diego and Adam of Wellington, and brother David Lem bke of Bay Village.
