Lorain teen assaulted in alley by three suspects
A 17 year old Lorain boy told police he was jumped by three males who choked him and struck him with a metal pipe near East 31st Street at about 7 48 pm. He escaped after kicking one assailant. two suspects described as black males 5 11 175 to 180 pounds and wearing black, the third as a light skinned black or Hispanic male 5 11 about 200 pounds. Police are investigating. the boy was not seriously hurt.

Focus crashes into Clifton home killing passenger in Lorain
At 11 40 p m a Ford Focus pursued after an armed robbery rammed into a house on Clifton Avenue 3716. The crash injured the driver and killed Bennet the Focus passenger. Owner Ila Parks Vaughn reported loss of power and damaged porch. Police said the chase occurred after a robbery but remain investigating.
