Lorain County residents saw less than a tenth of an inch of snow in February, the first February with virtually no snowfall in memory. Rain is expected daily through Sunday with highs in the 40s to 50s, while forecasters note rainfall near normal at about two inches.

Brenda Hammond of Cleveland Center FCU cites member frustration as some cannot join due to lack of choice. AT&T Family Credit Union and others with diverse employee bases could face member removals or eligibility changes.
Six of ten Elyria Schools administrators elect to take an early retirement buyout approved by the school board. Among those leaving are Polly Barrett, Mary Ann Koral, Mike McNermott, Joan Sigafoos, Richard Ackerman, and Ann Holland, enabling incoming Superintendent Edna Jean Harper to form her cabinet.
